m e m r i s e

Hi friends!

Today I will going to talk about a great app called Memrise, this app is useful to learn differents lenguages in a ludic form. When you come into the page, the first that you must to do is creat an account only with your facebook or gmail (without any cost), after that you can define the lenguage for the page that is more confortable to you.
This app is really easy to use, the methology that use is to repeat the words and expression and really constant in that.
I really enjoyed using the app, because is very simple and always are showing you a lot of native speakers of the lenguage that help you with the pronunciation in the real life.
I choosed the english's course and a basic french course too. I recommend you this app because I think that is an useful leanguage learning tool, always.

THE LONG WEEKEND

hi readers, today I'm going to talk about my bored long weekend

This "started" the friday because I woke up later and I didn't was to class so I use the time to make work for college. I didn't use all the day in work, obviously, I cleaned my room and I cooked a really tasty spaghettis. That night, my brother had a party with his friends in the house and they were listening to very loud music and I could not sleep until the 04:00 am, that was so annoyed. Well, the saturday's morning was bad for me because I couldn't sleep good so I did the lunch and I sleep more and good.
The sunday I went to the mall with my boyfriend just to buy two pairs of boots, a pair of pillow and a fish tank, was funny go there.
The monday I woke up only thinking that I didn't all the works that I musted... but in the week was all good, i finished everyting what I musted.

---------- Correction ----------

Today i(NN) I choose "Persa Bio Bio" to be (WE) my favorite place in Santiago. Persa Bio-Bio its(p) a gigant(Sp) market in Santiago where you can buy and sell whatever you want, normally people talks about this places as a "Flea Market" id(p) like to think that is the coolest and largest Pulgas market in the country, o(Sp) i(p) dont (p) know, (sm) the world jajaja.

I really like this place,(sm) is located in Franklin station of the subway, but(NN) specifically in Placer street, to my dismay, its(p) just the perfect name. This area its(p) in a neighborhood full of storehouses and wholesales, some of them are empty so some days(WE) (im (p) not shure(Sp)) and Saturdays like(NN) at 10 until 11 AM this place changes and become this(WW) big Pulgas market whit(Sp) a thousen(Sp) of stands.

I dont(p) go constantly, but(NN) i(p) like to go at least one or twice a year, (sm)  I dont(p) go to buy anithing(Sp) (sm) just (sm) to look because there is a passage o space just for collectors full of antiques. You can see, fourniture(Sp), comics, games, old tecnology,(sm) clothes. This really can be a journey for a day, also you have one area that sells tipical chilean food to licking your fingers. This cant(p) be (sm) the haven so(WW) two things to considerate if one day the lector go(WE)its(p) like a risky place in Santiago, i(p) dont(p) know, (sm) example for a turist, and are (NN) some hours that(NN) (SM) is really full of people, its (p) very heavy. I like to go with friends, my couple or my family, i(p) have to admit that the best its(p) go whit(Sp) the family because there you have the chance to listens stories about one objet(Sp) o(Sp) antique and the life of yours relatives. The last time I went alone :(, (sm) just trying to sell (sm) someone a dead smarphone, indeed that works (WE) (sm) so with the money i(p) go to buy(WT) a Sopaipilla.

A SPECIAL PLACE IN SANTIAGO

Hi dear readers

This day i will write about my special place in Santiago: the Santa Lucía Hill wich is a literally a green lung in the middle of the center of the city (that is why is special for me).

Well I went for first time with my family in the summer's vacation of  2014, and I really love it. I was very surprised of his vegetation's quantity because I always saw only cement in the center, I liked so much the little waterfalls in the slope of the hill, the gardens, the flowers and the road carefully kept.

I would like to mention that in the first decades of Chile like a republic, this hill was only soil and rocks, and since 1872 with the foreman Benjamin Vicuña Mackenna began the transformation of the hill, building many fountains of water, terrace with vegetation, viewpoints, gardens and much more.

This is a special place to go with friends and family, but I advise go to this beautiful hill when you feel far from de nature, there you can hear the birds and the water. Is really nice go to talk with someone or only go to think serenely about anything.

The last time that i went  at top of the hill was in the begining of the last year, in my first year in the college and makes me feel near of my home with all green trees, green vegetation and birds.

THE LONG WEEKEND

Hi everybody, today I will tell you about my long weekend in the north of Chile: the Friday I was in Iquique with my boyfriend, we wake up early and went out to lunch in someplace (I don’t remember the name of the restaurant), the food was great and the juice of mango was better. After that, we went to buy the tickets to the buss to go Arica and we found two very sheep. We walked in the Iquique’s streets and was a little cold. In the afternoon we went to eat with my boyfriend’s mother and come back at 10:00 to the apartment of the cousin of my boyfriend.
The Saturday we wake up early again because the buss to Arica leaves Iquique at 10:00 am, after of 5 hours of trip we arrive to Arica. There the weather was more comfortable than Iquique. Near at 16:00 we arrive to the house of an uncle of my boyfriend, and there we went out. After at the dinner we ate whit her.
On Sunday we wake up and just go out to discover the city, we went to the “feria dominical”, we went to a big square and walked around the center, we took pictures of the Morro and we went to a peaceful beach called El Laucho and after that we went to eat chicken with.

On Monday holidays my boyfriend fall sick and we can´t go out, I think that the “pebre” was bad and make him felt bad so we went in the house all day.

PABLO PICASSO

Hi,
This day I will tell you about the day that I went to see the great exhibition of the Spanish Pablo Picasso "Love and Desire" which take place here in Santiago this year, in the Universidad Catolica. Personally I like too much the art but Picasso never was interesting to me (I never took time to him) and when I saw his work I felt in love with many of his paints...
The paint that I like too much was this:
Well, I love it because makes me feel near to my mom, the woman there looks like her. Her nose, her hair, eyes and her mouth are really beautiful to me, I think that the real woman that Picasso painted must to be an exceptional woman, because that is what I see in the paint.
I think that is a good paint because doesn’t exist anything more than her in the paint, that I like too much. Only one figure to see and appreciate.
An advice: Don’t go to see the exhibitions the last day… I went the last day and I think now that is the worst that you can do, because if the paints or sculptures likes you, after you can’t go again because the times over  :(

BAKER RIVER

Hi readers

Today i'm going to write about a geographical feature of Chile: The migthty river Baker. It is located in the chilean patagonia and is the Chile's largest river in terms of volume of water, this river flows out of Bertrand Lake, which is fed by General Carrera Lake. It runs along the east side of the Northern Patagonian Ice Field and empties into the Pacific Ocean near the town of Caleta Tortel. This river forms a delta, dividing into two major arms, of which only the northernmost one is navigable.

This river is the site of a controversial major hydro-electric project: HidroAysen, the project was a joint venture between Endesa Chile and Colbún S.A. The series of hydro-electric dams were proposed along both the Baker and Pascua rivers, two of Chile's mightiest rivers. The project was opposed by a protest campaing led by chilean and international environmental activist groups.

Based on study, if the project carry through some day the construction and access roads will impact six national parks, eleven national reserves, twenty six coservation priority sites, sixteen wetland areas and thirty two privately owned protected conservation areas. Also six communities of mapuches, four in Tolten and one in Lautaro and Victoria.

Until now the business are looking ways to realise the project and the people follow defending the wealth natural of Chile.
