Ey geobloggers!
This day i will tell you about the first time i visited Cajon del Maipo in Chile, this charming place it located in south-eastern zone of the country's capital: Santiago de Chile. I went there last year for an activity of geology's class. I went with all my college's friends who are in the class, we were like 60 persons!
In the travel and being there all was so funy, we were for learn and to take a best apreciation about the big geological forms of the Andes, but we did more: we saw to many cascade falling from the mountains, with many friends touched the ice near of the top of one, we saw many fossils of "ammonites" - a type of extinct mollusk that was in all planet-, we saw flying three Condors when we went in the lunch, was amazing!!!. Also we learn about the process that make this place exist, how the nature sorprise you with things that you don't believe that can be real. An example is Lo Valdes: this was the last destination in the excursion. This is so amazing, there you can recognise perfectly the folds and also you can climb in the rock (i didn't , but maybe you can do!), here is a good view to photograph, and is the begginig of the big Andes... What can be better?
That place is beautiful! and was a pleasant experience
